About Larry A. Hultberg

Larry helps bring simplicity and clarity to complex issues and possesses diverse experiences to help improve executive and team performance for clients in public (federal, state and local), private and non-profit settings. Most of his work has been focused on organization and leadership development, as well as change management for large-scale business transformations.

As an executive coach, certified Gallup Strengths Coach and Gallup-trained Builder Profile Coach for entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs with senior clients around the globe, Larry helps clients to address complex, real-world challenges and customizes his coaching to meet their leadership and team development needs. He has assisted senior leaders with the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, National Security Agency, Defense Intelligence Agency, National Reconnaissance Office, U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Aviation Administration. Larry also possesses specific expertise coaching women in technology.

An executive with Accenture Federal Services for eight years, he supported a cybersecurity taskforce in examining economic development drivers for the Greater Washington, DC, region, was strategic advisor for the senior leadership team of a Pentagon IT provider, evaluated customer insights for a $1.4-billion software engineering organization, led change management and communications activities for the corporate restructuring of a $1-billion business and developed change and communications strategy for a statewide procurement transformation.

Larry is a 20-year USAF veteran (where he actually taught rocket science) and received his master’s degree in organization development from the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School. He is a faculty member at Georgetown University as a learning team coach in the Organizational Consulting and Change Leadership graduate certificate program, and previously was a faculty member at Hopkins, where he worked with MBA candidates focused on organization development.
