Alexandria, VA, Jan. 26, 2022—FedLearn, the first-to-market online learning platform with content specialized and contextualized for the federal government and government contractor markets, announces a new partnership with Space Strategies Center to provide space warfare course content to learners.
Paul Szymanski of SSC will lead a variety of virtual, instructor-led training courses on different aspects of space warfare—beginning with “General Introduction to Space Warfare” on February 11, 12–3 p.m. Eastern time and “United States Loses First Global Space War to Russians” on February 25, 3–6 p.m. Eastern time.
Other courses to be offered in March include “Space Warfare – Adversary Intent Estimation,” Space Warfare – Centers of Gravity” and “Space Warfare Analysis Tools.”
“FedLearn is honored to team with internationally renowned expert, Paul Szymanski, to offer his extensive knowledge about space warfare to our customers,” said Dr. J. Keith Dunbar, FedLearn founder and chief executive officer, “The courses will provide federal government and contractor organizations and their workforce with the information they need to support requirements in this mission space—and are incredibly timely and important topics due to the possibility of a renewed Ukrainian conflict involving additional space attacks.”
“I’m delighted to work with FedLearn on providing foundational theory, policy, doctrine, strategies and tactics for the emerging world of outer space warfare,” said Szymanski. “It is important to understand these critical issues as the new field of space warfare evolves into a major conflict zone that will have significant impacts on terrestrial battlefields of the future.”
Szymanski established SSC as his private outer space warfare consulting business. His expertise spans 48 years and emphasizes outer space warfare (space control, space superiority and space defense) advanced planning, policy, space military theory, doctrine, strategies, and tactics. This mission area expertise also includes space battle management, command and control, space situational awareness and space domain awareness, space systems survivability, susceptibility and resilience, space weapons systems effectiveness analyses, autonomous satellite self-defense concepts, and orbital dynamics modeling, simulations, and 3D satellite model construction. Szymanski helped NATO develop its military space policy and has worked directly with multiple military armed services, civilian agencies, the White House National Security Council and beyond.
