Alexandria, VA, Jan. 18, 2022—FedLearn, the first-to-market an online learning platform with content specialized and contextualized for the federal government and government contractor markets, announces the launch of the second course in its spectrum warfare learning series: Electromagnetic Fundamentals. The course is being offered via a partnership with PatchPlus Consulting.
The course delves into the foundational principles of the EM spectrum. It covers how to distinguish between the radio and optical portions of the EM spectrum and describes the properties of an EM wave and EM wave propagation.
The EM Fundamentals course is designed for any analyst working in the intelligence field. Completion is recommended as a prerequisite for the current course—Low Observable Theory—and future courses in the PatchPlus Consulting spectrum warfare learning series that include:
- Communications basics
- Infrared theory
- Radar theory
“FedLearn is excited to offer this exceptional course on EM fundamentals, developed by our content partner, PatchPlus Consulting, to our customers,” said Dr. J. Keith Dunbar, FedLearn founder and chief executive officer. “The course is central to the FedLearn mission of ensuring that the federal government and government contractor workforces have access to great content—related to spectrum warfare and beyond—that is contextualized to their missions in support of the security and defense of our nation.”
